Houseboat was also known as “Kettuvallam” which means a boat made by tying together pieces of wood. Unbelievable as it may sound, not a single nail is used in the making of a Kettuvallam. Jack wood planks are joined together with coir rope and then coated with black resin made from boiled cashew nut shells.

ABHYANGAM

NASYAM

POTIKIZHI

SHIRODHARA

Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead and can be one of the steps involved in Panchakarma. The name comes from the Sanskrit words shiro (head) and dhara (flow).

KAYASEKAM

This type of oleated sudation in which the warm medicated oil is poured all over the body/specific part in a specified manner and do gentle massage for a stiputed period when moderate to high pressure massage is done it is called 'UZICHIL'.

THALAPOTHICHIL

In Thalapothichil, the person's scalp is completely applied with high value medicinal pastes. This enables the medicines to penetrate faster into the brain cells. The healing properties of the herbs also calm down the nervous system and rejuvenate the person.

THALAPOTHICHIL

Thalapothichil is a special procedure of application of medicated paste on the head. Thalapothichil is also called as Shirolepa (anointment to head/ head pack).

UDVARTHANA
